Computer Class
Computer lab develops computer science and technology skills across the academic curriculum. Students learn keyboarding, word processing with Microsoft WORD, presentation methods with POWER POINT, and data land graphing skills with EXCEL.  Effective, safe, and appropriate Internet research and learning projects coincide with the classroom curriculum.  In addition, students learn to use paint and art applications, digital photography, and different age appropriate educational software programs.

Spanish Class
Spanish curriculum is taught from unit to unit using a variety of methods such as flash cards, handouts, games, videos, songs, props, and worksheets.  5th.& 6th graders are introduced to a Spanish textbook, are given Spanish homework assignments and tested to prepare them for middle school.

Music Class
The MBMA Music Program offers rhythm, movement, singing and some history of music and composers for the youngest students. The elementary program also includes the introduction to a variety of musical instruments as well as learning to read music in small classroom settings. We have a very strong award-winning band program that students may choose to participate in. We also have a competitive chorus which performs along with the Beginning Band, the Intermediate Band and the Jazz Band.

Chinese Class
MBMA’s Chinese curriculum is based on teaching the Chinese language, while combining the introduction of Chinese culture and game activities. We teach students in interesting ways, such as rhymes, singing, performing, hands-on activities, stories, etc. to let students learn some simple Chinese sentences, sing children songs, understand simple words, grasp the basic skills of writing the characters, and begin to understand Chinese culture. In the course of teaching, we will teach units of different topics, including: numbers, animals, body, seasons, and sports etc. to let students enjoy the learning experience.
