MBMA 2020 Fine Art Exhibition
Hello MBMA Families,
We hope this message finds our MBMA Community healthy and safe in these unprecedented times!
Our Annual Art Show 2020 has been worked into our first ever Virtual "MBMA Fine Art Exhibition" .
Please find our students extraordinary art from this school year.
First with Pattern Making - designing their own stamps and creating a unique colorful design. Second in Pen and Ink - with careful observation of winter trees showing movement in still life. Third with watercolor of the Pink Floyd Rose in early Spring which transitioned us to online learning. Students were asked to use their skills to draw what they see in flowers around their home, and the results were tremendous. From home students used the Hubble Space Telescope Images of Jupiter and Saturn for their subject, as STEM was transitioned to STEAM. Our students used art materials from home to create beautiful Mixed Media planets, using color to represent the red, blue and green storms, along with the the background of Space. Saturn's Rings of Moons, rocks and even dust were created as students followed my guidance and these pieces are beautiful. Finally, the SpaceX Dragon Launch and the Mars Rover Perseverance were the background resources for students to created their own Mixed Media Rover or Rocket, and these creative line drawings are extremely thoughtful!
I am very proud of their accomplishments and I thank you for your children's creativity and attention this year in Art. Please enjoy witnessing their growth in this year's MBMA Fine Art Slideshow.
